SoundStake is an impact-wrench-installed ground stake designed specifically for landscape audio speakers. It replaces hammer-driven stakes with a better installation experience and delivers better results.

To install SoundStake, attach a 1-inch, impact-rated, deep socket to your cordless or corded impact driver. 18V, 20V, or similar is recommended. Use impact driver to install SoundStake in the ground. ImpactStake grips the soil with a screw-like blade. SoundStake is threaded 1/2" x 14 NPS to fit many landscape speakers. SoundStake is strong, so your fixtures stay upright and secure.

Instead of hammering, SoundStake is a metal stake that is installed with an impact driver. Installation is faster, requires less physical effort, and produces straighter, more consistent, stronger results.

SoundStake is sold in packs of 4. Each SoundStake is individually boxed. Each individual box contains 1 SoundStake and 1 Flag Cap.

Many makes and models of impact driver will work well. Testing was conducted using low-torque and mid-torque versions of Milwaukee and Dewalt impact wrenches along with a variety of batteries. At least 500 ft-lbs of torque is recommended for rocky or dense soil. A high-current battery is also recommended. Low-torque models may overheat or fail.

An impact driver (also called impact wrench) and a socket are all you need. The socket should be a deep, impact-rated, 1” socket. 35mm depth is recommended.
In testing, cordless impact drivers with at least 500 ft-lbs of torque performed better than low-torque models, especially in dense soil. High-current batteries are recommended. The amount of power required to install SoundStake depends on the type of soil into which you are installing the SoundStake.
